LA LUNE: ♡ My 18th Birthday ♡ Part 2

Some memories live on forever.

(It took too long for me to post the part two, forgive me.)

Before you read this post, you might want to read this first but if you don't, you're a rebel but it's okay.

Right after the dinner, we immediately proceeded to the continuation of the program which is the 18 Blue Bills. They just handed me the envelope and took a picture with me one by one. My ninang Merly was the one who gave the message and represent all of the 18 Blue Bills.

After that, my 18 Treasures followed. My emcee/program coordinator suggested to have a Pageant question and answer portion" instead of the usual messages. Questions like: "What can you advice to Mariela ow that she is 18?" There were different questions for each of them.

It was followed by another set of my 18 which is the 18 Chocolates. I just made this up though. I have chosen 18 guys that I have known for being sweet and gentle so I know that they will spoil my love for sweets. The group was represented by kuya Jeff Cruz who delivered a really touching and sweet message for me. I almost cried that time.

Then we proceeded again to another set of 18, which is the 18 Gifts. The difference between my 18 Treasures and 18 Gifts was that thi set was composed of my friends in college and high school that (of course) were at my age while the 18 Treasures was mostly composed of my "ate-s". The usual question "Why did you give Mariela that gift?" was ask and followed by their messages.

After that we had an ice breaker which is the Fact or Bluff game. Just like what the name of the game suggested, there were some statements to be thrown and by table, they will guess if it was a fact or a bluff. Of course, the questions were all about me.

The winning table will receive a bag of chocolates and that prize goes to....

My second eldest cousin, kuya Joseph, who answered most of the questions for his table.

Now we're down to the last set of 18 which are the 18 Candles that compose of the closest girls in my heart, my bestfriends, girlfriends and of course my sister.

When I finished blowing the candles, we proceeded to the cake ceremony. My cake was a 3-layered cake with rainbow theme. When I blew the candle, they released the butterfly, making the night extra special.

After that, there was quite a surprise. I had to dance with kuya Lem. He was in the 18 Roses but he came late. This was completely out of the program but someone requested it. I am quite shy aboiut it though.

Before I gave my "thank you" speech, I sang a song and played a ukulele. The song I sang was Ours by Taylor Swift.
